Laurie Sutherland

Laurie is passionate about encouraging women of all ages to live with bold faith and share Christ with a world in desperate need of hope. After a 20-year career with a major airline, an unexpected move of God led her out of a profession she enjoyed into full-time ministry. She led a Bible study, Soul Sisters, which originated in her home, then launched at church and grew to over 700 women who met weekly to worship, dig into God's Word, and share each other's hearts.

As a speaker, she has a wonderful way of connecting with women and inspiring them to walk in faith and obedience. Whether in a living room or a large auditorium, when Laurie speaks, the experience is engaging, intimate and authentic.
Laurie has been in the Dallas area for over 40 years and earned her degree in Education from UNT. She and her husband, Steve, live in Lantana, Texas, and have adult twins and two rambunctious dogs. She is over the moon excited to welcome her first grandbaby this year!
